Sharing the love of Jesus with the community we serve

For August 2017

At St. James’, we feel strongly that the church community should not stand on its own but should reach out to other communities. The PCC has decided to adopt two charities to support, one locally and one in another country. The Morning Star charity in South Africa works with under-privileged children with HIV/AIDS. The latest newsletter can be viewed by clicking the button below.

We have also sent a donation to ‘Hands at Work’, a charity which works in some of the poorest parts of Africa.

Our domestic charity is the Rugeley Foyer at Aelfgar House; the YMCA in Rugeley. We have been collecting items which are in desperate need for the young people. All donations will be very gratefully received. There is a box at the back of church for items intended for Aelfgar House.
